Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the safe and smooth operation of critical infrastructure within the rail sector as a Substation Control Technician. Day-to-day responsibilities include the technical parameterization and configuration of SICAM systems within energy grid automation projects. You will manage the commissioning of systems on-site, conduct customer acceptance procedures, and provide crucial support during fault resolution. Furthermore, you will be responsible for planning the technical execution of customer projects, managing project adjustments, and working closely with the project management team. The ideal candidate holds a job-specific technical qualification, possesses several years of experience in energy supply automation (preferably in rail environments), and demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for effective troubleshooting. This position requires nationwide travel readiness and strong communication skills.
