This role involves training apprentices in the practical and theoretical aspects of Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics at the Bilfinger education center in Heinsberg. The Trainer will be responsible for delivering content according to internal plans and vocational regulations, conducting performance assessments, and guiding apprentices through exam preparations (AP1 and AP2) and various projects. A key focus is on modern pedagogy, acting as a learning process facilitator, and promoting the development of technical, methodological, and social competencies. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as a Mechatronics Technician or Electrician for Operational/Automation Technology, possesses the Trainer Aptitude Exam (AdA), and has several years of professional experience in the field. This position requires strong German language skills and offers the opportunity to shape the future of vocational training, incorporating new digital teaching concepts within an international industrial service provider.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician or Electrician for Operational Technology or Automation Technology; Trainer Aptitude Exam (Ausbildereignungsprüfung); Ideally, further qualification as a State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister)

Experience

  • Professional experience in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
  • Professional experience in the assembly of mechatronic systems, including pneumatic or hydraulic systems
