This role seeks a proactive Chemical Data Scientist to drive innovation within a leading specialty adhesive manufacturer serving high-tech industries like semiconductor and automotive. The core responsibility involves actively shaping and executing Data Science projects, focusing on the conception, development, implementation, and continuous optimization of data-driven models utilized by the chemical adhesive development team. A crucial aspect of this position is leveraging a strong chemical background to identify critical relationships between raw materials and adhesive properties, alongside preparing and processing the necessary input data. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemistry (preferably a PhD) and possesses several years of experience applying Data Science and Machine Learning specifically within the chemical industry. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and associated libraries (NumPy, Scikit, Pandas), coupled with familiarity with modern development tools like Git and Jira, is essential for success in this highly analytical and collaborative environment.
