Job Summary
This role involves actively driving the digital transformation and innovation capacity of industrial small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the Allianz I4.0 Baden-Württemberg platform. The Expert will focus on identifying, scouting, and preparing relevant industry topics, while guiding R&D projects related to secure data spaces, ManufacturingX, and Everything-as-a-service concepts. Day-to-day activities include analyzing customer inquiries, planning and executing specialized events and workshops, and disseminating results at trade fairs. A crucial component of the job is building and maintaining a robust expert network spanning industry, research, administration, and politics. This position offers the unique opportunity to shape industrial policy and take responsibility in a future-oriented environment, leveraging a vast European network. Candidates should possess a relevant university degree and initial professional experience, coupled with strong communication skills and enthusiasm for digitalization. The role is based in Stuttgart and requires occasional national business travel.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (technical, natural sciences, or economics) or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Initial professional experience in industry, consulting, or research.
- Experience in accompanying R&D projects and best practices (e.g., secure data spaces, Everything-as-a-service).
- Experience in Big Data, IoT, and Platform Management (desirable).
- Experience in Cybersecurity, Crisis Management, and Supply Chain (desirable).
