Job Summary
This permanent, full-time position as a Laboratory Technician places you at the core of quality assurance for a leading, expansive, family-owned group in the food industry. You will be instrumental in maintaining high standards, primarily focusing on the control of incoming raw materials and finished products. Day-to-day tasks involve meticulous adherence to hygiene and quality standards, specifically IFS 6, conducting various analytical methods, including microbiology, and performing mandatory product tastings. The role requires strong communication skills, as you will serve as the primary contact point for the management, Quality Management (QM), and Production departments, reporting directly to the Head of QM. Candidates must possess a completed relevant technical education (MTA/BTA or equivalent) and several years of practical laboratory experience. Proficiency in analytical methods and microbiology is essential, and knowledge of Food Law (LMIV, Wine Law) is beneficial. Mandatory shift work is required due to seasonal operations.
