Job Summary
This role is with a major IT outsourcing partner for the finance and insurance sector, focusing on ensuring secure IT operations by designing, providing, and operating robust security systems. The Specialist will play a critical role in planning, implementing, and maintaining the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and various cryptographic solutions. Key daily tasks include advancing automation, particularly in certificate lifecycle management, and advising internal and external clients on the correct use of certificates, keys, and secrets. You will also support the development of a cryptographic register and implement use-cases for the Secrets Management system. Candidates must possess a deep understanding of cryptography, PKI, Key Management Systems (KMS), and Hardware Security Modules (HSM), preferably gained within a highly regulated environment. This position offers the opportunity to apply an agile mindset while contributing significantly to enterprise-level cyber defense strategies.
Required Skills
Education
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Cyber Security, or comparable degree, or relevant vocational training.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in Cyber Security environment
- Experience in the finance sector or another highly regulated industry
- Professional experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Key Management Systems (KMS), and/or Hardware Security Modules (HSM)
- Initial experience with technical leadership
Languages
Additional
- Cyber Security certifications are advantageous. Experience with standards and regulations such as DORA, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and Common Criteria is desirable. Knowledge in Post-Quanten Cryptography (PQC), PQC migration, or building a Crypto Inventory is beneficial.
