This role involves acting as a Civil Engineer specializing in structural engineering within the Federal Highway Company, one of Germany's largest infrastructure operators. Day-to-day responsibilities include the conception and design of complex structures like bridges, tunnels, noise barriers, and retaining walls, often requiring high technical standards. The engineer will be responsible for preparing new construction and preservation designs, including bridge reinforcement, and coordinating with external engineering offices (HOAI phases 1-5).
