Job Summary

The City of Steinheim is seeking an IT Specialist to join their Central Services department. This role is crucial for maintaining the technological infrastructure across various municipal facilities, including administration offices, schools, kindergartens, the city hall, municipal enterprises, and the cultural forum. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the installation and administration of both hardware and software, managing and documenting the client infrastructure, and performing first-level support to analyze and resolve technical disruptions. A key focus is also placed on software updates, patch management, and providing user support and training. The ideal candidate will have a completed vocational education in IT system integration or similar, possessing strong knowledge of operating systems, servers, and networks.
