Job Summary

The City of Wegberg is seeking a Responsible Electrical Specialist to oversee the operation and maintenance of all electro-technical systems within the municipality. This critical role involves ensuring safety compliance, managing inspections and maintenance schedules, and providing expert technical leadership. Day-to-day tasks include performing work safety assessments, managing explosion protection, and acting as the primary technical consultant for management and authorities regarding electrical safety. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor/FH Diploma) or an equivalent qualification (Master/Technician in Electrical Engineering) and possesses a structured, reliable, and independent work ethic. Experience in plant management and understanding process engineering and mechanical workflows is desirable.
