Job Summary
The City of Königs Wusterhausen is seeking a dedicated Business Accounting Clerk to join their Finance and Administrative Management Department. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of critical accounting tasks, including reviewing and booking budget allocations, processing and posting invoices (both debit and credit) within the HKR financial system, and ensuring timely bookings and payments. You will also perform independent reconciliation work, assist with interim and annual financial statements, and assess tax implications of booking documents. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed training as an Administrative Assistant, Tax Assistant, or comparable commercial training; alternatively, further training as a Financial Accountant or Balance Sheet Accountant.
Experience
- Relevant practical professional experience in bookkeeping and invoice verification, ideally within a municipal administration
- In-depth knowledge of municipal budget and treasury law
- Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping
