Job Summary

This role involves the installation, expansion, and maintenance of complex structured data and communication networks, encompassing both copper and fiber optic technologies. Day-to-day tasks include mounting and configuring network hardware such as switches, routers, and access points, as well as specialized work like splicing, measuring, and testing fiber optic and copper lines using tools like OTDR. The technician will be responsible for setting up IT infrastructure in server rooms, troubleshooting network and communication issues, and integrating VoIP systems and telephone exchanges. Key requirements include a completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician or Electrician, proficiency in documentation and measurement protocols, and experience handling modern fiber optic splicing and data measurement devices.
