Job Summary

The Dr. Födisch Umweltmesstechnik AG is seeking a Calibration Engineer to join their team in Markranstädt, focusing on complex environmental measurement technology. This role involves the critical task of calibrating sophisticated measuring devices, such as fine dust monitors used in large industrial facilities to control air quality. Day-to-day responsibilities include feeding calibration gases, creating linearity characteristics and cross-sensitivity tables, operating the existing calibration machine, and performing customer-specific device calibration for gas analyzers (UV, IR). The ideal candidate holds a technical degree, possesses a strong understanding of mathematical relationships, and ideally has foundational knowledge in chemistry. Success in this role requires a detail-oriented approach, self-reliance, strong team orientation, and proficiency in both German (B2) and English (B1).
