Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position as a Civil Engineer focuses on managing and executing complex public works projects related to underground construction and urban drainage within the municipality of Wiesloch. The role involves the complete project lifecycle, from initial planning and budget calculation for municipal infrastructure (including roads, bridges, and noise barriers) to the critical oversight of urban drainage and storm water management systems. Key responsibilities include preparing tenders, awarding contracts, supervising construction firms, and coordinating extensively with internal departments and external service providers. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering (Bachelor/Master/Diplom) or is a qualified Construction Technician. Strong organizational, negotiation, and IT skills (including MS Office and AVA programs) are essential. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Civil Engineering (Diplom, Bachelor, or Master) or comparable field; alternatively, successful completion as a Certified Construction Technician (Bautechniker)
