Job Summary

This critical role supports a major scientific institute's expansion by coordinating extensive construction, renovation, and modernization projects, including a new building and the refurbishment of a listed structure. The Construction Coordinator acts as the institutional representative, integrating scientific and practical requirements into all phases of planning, execution, and commissioning. Daily tasks involve rigorous communication with external planners, specialized engineers, and experts, preparing technical specifications, monitoring construction progress and schedules, and ensuring proper commissioning and final acceptance of all works. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Building Services Planning and brings long-term experience managing large-scale projects, preferably in a research environment. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, high resilience, and fluency in both German and English to succeed within a dynamic, international setting.
