Job Summary
Join a leading international specialist in heavy plate processing located in Duisburg as a Quality Assurance Specialist. This long-term role focuses on ensuring material quality and process integrity within the preparation and laser technology departments, with a clear path to permanent employment with the client. Day-to-day tasks involve performing detailed quality inspections using both conventional measuring instruments and a 3D measuring arm, continuous monitoring of manufacturing processes, and conducting thorough root cause analysis for identified defects. A key responsibility is comprehensive documentation, including generating inspection reports and Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) compliant with VDA standards, alongside executing specialized Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). Candidates must possess specific certifications in Material Testing, notably Magnetic Particle Testing (MT - Level 2) and Penetrant Testing (PT - Level 2), coupled with profound knowledge of steel processing and metal industry quality requirements.

- Professional experience in quality assurance within the metal processing or steel industry
- In-depth knowledge of steel processing methods (e.g., rolling, edging, milling, welding)
