Senior IT Infrastructure Expert | Informatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role seeks a seasoned (Senior) IT Infrastructure Expert to join a dynamic international FinTech environment, focusing on optimizing and managing high-availability, compliant IT infrastructure across both On-Premise data centers and the Azure Cloud. The expert will be responsible for the continuous optimization of server, network, storage, virtualization, and cloud infrastructures, ensuring strict adherence to finance/banking industry security and compliance standards. Daily activities include consulting on technical requirements, analyzing and classifying IT disruptions, and managing the planning, control, and documentation of infrastructure services, changes, and maintenance. The position also involves leading infrastructure projects, managing internal team members and external service providers, and monitoring IT operating costs. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in both Linux and Windows environments, familiarity with networking, database systems (Oracle, MS SQL), and Azure, coupled with strong project management skills and professional pragmatism.
