Job Summary

This role is ideal for an Electrical Design Engineer specializing in the construction and documentation of switchgear and control cabinets within the mechanical and plant engineering sector. Day-to-day responsibilities involve planning, design, and testing of switchgear according to DIN EN 61439 standards, creating detailed electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and bills of materials. The engineer will also be responsible for selecting and specifying electrical components such as motors, frequency converters, and sensors, while maintaining material master data in SAP. Key qualifications include a background as a certified Electrical Engineering Technician or equivalent, proficiency with EPLAN Electric P8, and solid knowledge of drive systems and frequency converters.
