Job Summary
This role involves comprehensive management of municipal infrastructure projects, focusing particularly on bridges and structural engineering works within the Infrastructure and Recreation department of the City of Bad Berleburg. The successful candidate will handle the full project lifecycle, including planning, tendering, contract awarding, construction supervision, and billing for new construction and maintenance measures. Key responsibilities also include updating technical specifications, managing funding projects, maintaining the structural inventory using SIB-Bauwerke software, and conducting structural inspections according to DIN 1076. The ideal applicant holds a degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant technical qualification, possesses strong knowledge of VOB/VOL regulations, and is proficient in IT systems and structural data capture.
