This critical role seeks a specialized Engineer, focusing on Electrical or Aerospace disciplines, to join the Flight Inspection team at the Braunschweig/Wolfsburg Research Airport. You will play a vital part in ensuring European flight safety by planning and executing flight inspection programs for navigation and radar systems, as well as approach and departure procedures. Daily tasks involve conducting measurement flights aboard modern company aircraft, meticulously evaluating the collected data, and contributing to ongoing innovation projects. The position offers comprehensive training to become a certified Flight Inspection Engineer, specializing you in aviation navigation systems and advanced measurement equipment operation. Candidates must hold a relevant technical degree, possess a strong interest in metrology, and be prepared for regular travel (approx. 50%) as part of the flight team.
