Job Summary
This role involves driving the digitalization of business processes for a major Berlin electricity grid operator, focusing specifically on innovation in AI and Data Science. The successful candidate will identify, evaluate, and test AI Proof-of-Concepts within the company's AI lab, autonomously developing and implementing demo applications related to AI and Data Science. Key responsibilities include monitoring technology and market trends to set strategic impulses and actively contributing to the company's overall AI and Data Strategy. This position requires a strong technical background, expertise in Machine Learning frameworks, and the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable solutions, helping to modernize and maintain Berlin's 36,000-kilometer power network.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration with an IT focus, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- At least five years of practical professional experience in the development and implementation of Machine Learning / Data Science solutions
- Initial experience in a cloud environment
- Experience with cloud-based ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI) (Plus)
- Experience with LLM Frameworks (Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, LlamaIndex) (Plus)
