Job Summary

This role involves serving as the Senior Control Room Operator for a pumped-storage power plant near Hamburg, focusing on the safe, legal, and economic execution of maintenance, switching, and operational procedures. Day-to-day tasks include operating electro-mechanical systems, monitoring facilities from the control room, conducting regular inspections, and independently managing operational interventions, especially during malfunctions. The position requires working in a 2-shift system (early and late shifts) and participating in an on-call system. Key requirements include a completed vocational training in energy and process control electronics (or similar electrical qualification), basic mechanical knowledge, and the willingness to obtain 110 kV switching authorization and crane operator certification.
