Job Summary

This role is based at Excelitas' Göttingen competence center, focusing on developing and producing photonics solutions for the demanding semiconductor equipment market, including complex opto-mechanical modules and subsystems. The Electrical Engineer will be primarily responsible for ensuring the quality of purchased parts and products, particularly electronic assemblies and systems. Key daily tasks involve structured qualification and risk assessment of purchased components with suppliers during product development projects, conducting process and product audits, and managing supplier complaints by enforcing and reviewing root cause analyses and corrective actions. The ideal candidate must possess an electrical engineering degree or relevant technical training in electronics, coupled with initial professional experience in quality assurance. Fluency in both written and verbal German and English is a mandatory requirement for effective international collaboration.
