Job Summary

This critical role seeks a SWIFT Client Services Lead to manage the stable, secure, and efficient operation of a global SWIFT Service Bureau, while simultaneously leading and developing a high-performing Client Services and technical support team. The position requires a blend of leadership, customer orientation, and deep technical expertise to ensure operational excellence and strategic development of SWIFT services. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing SWIFT interfaces (Alliance Access, Gateway, Web Platform), leading technical implementations for international client projects, providing 2nd Level support for global customers, and resolving complex incidents within SLAs. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in the SWIFT environment, strong leadership skills, and expertise in national and international payments/securities business. This is an attractive opportunity for a leader to actively shape the strategic direction and quality optimization of the SWIFT Service Bureau.

Required Skills

Education

Completed education with a focus on Information Technology, completed degree in Economics, or comparable qualification. Relevant certifications in Leadership, ITIL, Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile), or Financial Messaging Systems (Preferred).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the SWIFT environment (Alliance Access, Gateway, Web Platform)
  • Professional experience in leading or coordinating teams or projects
  • Experience in specifying and implementing technical and functional requirements
  • Experience in 2nd Level Support
  • Experience in global organizations or Service Bureau environments (Preferred)
  • Proven experience in vendor and partner management, including SLA monitoring (Preferred)
  • Multiple years (5-7 years) of relevant professional experience in the banking and finance industry (Preferred)
