Job Summary
This role is for an IT Analyst supporting the administration of the Hamburg State Parliament, specifically driving the IT implementation for the new Hamburg Lobby Register. The core responsibility involves bridging legal requirements with technical execution. Day-to-day, you will analyze the Lobby Register Act requirements, conceptualize the necessary software framework, and design the application and system architecture in close collaboration with the internal IT department. A critical component of the job is preparing detailed requirements and tender documents to commission external IT service providers. Furthermore, you will manage the implementation of the IT components, ensure thorough documentation, conduct comprehensive test management, and oversee the successful transition of the software solutions into live IT operations. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a strong focus on IT and software development projects, or possess equivalent professional skills. Experience with IT procurement, agile methods, and public administration is highly advantageous. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to government transparency through vital public sector IT development, offered as a fixed-term contract until the end of 2027.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a comparable field focusing on IT and software development projects; or equivalent skills and experience. Civil service qualification (Career Group 2, second entry level, General Services) required for beamte applicants.
