Job Summary

This leadership role involves managing and modernizing Berlin's 36,000-kilometer electricity grid, focusing specifically on market communication and contract setup within the Customer & Markets division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional and disciplinary leadership of over 30 employees across two groups, overseeing the system-supported setup of all contracts (grid usage and feed-in) which form the basis for billing and market partner interaction. A key focus is navigating the constantly changing regulatory environment (GPKE, EEG, KWKG) while maintaining stable processes—managing approximately 18,000 supplier changes weekly—and driving continuous optimization through change management and IT system conceptualization. This position is ideal for an experienced leader with a background in IT, economics, or business informatics, possessing strong expertise in the energy sector and a high aptitude for IT systems and digital transformation projects.
