Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Engineering Project Manager specializing in Electrical Engineering (KG 400) within the Building and Technical Services department of a major exhibition organizer. The professional will independently conceptualize, plan, lead, and coordinate renewal and new construction projects across all phases, focusing on energy-efficient, sustainable, and climate-neutral technology for the exhibition grounds. Key responsibilities include evaluating existing systems for operational optimization, conducting feasibility and profitability analyses, and coordinating technical and structural interfaces. The manager will handle sub-project leadership duties concerning costs, quality, and deadlines, prepare tender documents and execution plans, and manage commissioning, invoicing, and cost control. This position requires a strong technical background in electrical engineering, proven project management skills, and a commitment to continuous professional development and innovation.
Required Skills
Education
Master Craftsman or Engineer degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience
- More than 5 years in planning, construction management, and site supervision
- Professional experience in conceiving, planning, and leading renewal and new construction projects
- Experience with applicable legal and normative regulations in electrical engineering
- Routine handling of AVA (Tendering/Awarding/Billing) software (e.g., RIB iTWO)
