Job Summary

This role requires a seasoned professional to act as the Technical Lead for Assay Development, guiding complex, global, and cross-functional projects with significant strategic impact and risk potential. The successful candidate will technically lead a lab team, applying deep expertise in technical assay development for core-lab technologies, particularly within diagnostics. Day-to-day tasks involve steering technical development activities, managing complex interfaces, coordinating technical contributions for PI planning, and interpreting product/project risks to support decision-making. Key qualifications include a Master's degree (or PhD) in a relevant scientific field (Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry) coupled with extensive professional experience in developing diagnostic solutions. Fluency in English and good German skills are mandatory, alongside strong stakeholder management and strategic thinking abilities, ensuring collaboration across internal departments and external partners in R&D projects.
