Job Summary

This Telecommunications System Engineer role is vital for the Austrian Post's launch of its new MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) service, YELLLOW, scheduled for Q2/2026. The core responsibility is ensuring the stable and continuous operation of all MVNO systems and technical interfaces. Day-to-day tasks involve rigorous KPI and SLA analysis, adherence to regulatory requirements, and close coordination with external network operators and platform providers, including the development and maintenance of operational reports. A significant part of the role involves managing the Incident Management lifecycle to drive continuous system improvements, and overseeing the accurate billing and charging processes with external suppliers. You will also act as the technical interface for critical functions like SIM/eSIM management and number portability. Candidates must hold a university degree in Informatics, Communications Engineering, or Business Informatics, or possess equivalent practical experience in Telco operations. Crucially, multi-year experience in technical MVNO operation and profound knowledge of Telco Billing/Charging processes are required, alongside strong proficiency in data analysis tools like MS Excel (Macros, Pivot) and Power BI.
