Job Summary

This permanent, full-time role, based in Meinerzhagen, involves critical materials testing and microstructure analysis for a leading aerospace employer. The technician will be responsible for the preparation and precise analysis of metallographic cross-sections. Key daily tasks include conducting qualitative macroscopic and microscopic examinations of metallic materials, evaluating the lattice structure, identifying defects, and assessing phase boundaries. A major component of the role is performing damage and failure diagnosis on aerospace components exhibiting metallographic anomalies or deviations. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Materials Tester or Metallographer, coupled with a strong technical understanding and proficiency in standard office software (MS Windows, MS Office).
