Job Summary

This role is a full-time, permanent position focused on executing diverse and challenging telecommunications projects across Germany. The Fiber Optic Technician will be responsible for the independent splicing of fiber optic (LWL) cables in connection sleeves and distribution facilities. Daily tasks include the installation and commissioning of system technology within data centers and transport networks, integrating optical transmission systems into existing network infrastructures, and performing necessary measurements, maintenance, and troubleshooting on managed systems. The ideal candidate holds a completed technical vocational training (e.g., IT Systems Electrician or similar) and possesses a Class B driver's license. Success in this role requires a willingness to travel nationwide from Monday to Friday, excellent German language skills, and prior experience with network elements in network levels 2 and 3.
