Job Summary

This role seeks a motivated and flexible Control Cabinet Builder to join a dynamic environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include the construction and wiring of control panels, cabinets, and control systems for various machines and industrial plants. Key tasks involve installing electrical components such as controllers, fuses, switches, relays, and sockets, along with the detailed cabling and connection of devices and machinery. A crucial part of the job is documenting the completed wiring. Candidates must have a relevant completed vocational qualification, such as an Automation Technology Electrician, Control Cabinet Builder, or Electrical Installer, or be a lateral entrant with equivalent professional experience. Essential qualifications include technical comprehension for reading and interpreting circuit diagrams and electrical components, alongside proven experience in control cabinet construction and wiring. The position offers a permanent, full-time contract with above-tariff compensation and attractive benefits.
