Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position as a Materials Tester in Warstein focuses on ensuring the quality and integrity of forged components through rigorous testing procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing the testing process, setting required parameters, and ensuring the availability of testing equipment, such as controlling test fluids and checking UV lighting. A core task is performing magnetic particle inspection (MT) for crack detection on forged parts, including visual inspection under UV light. You will be responsible for meticulous documentation of results, marking defects, and approving flawless components, as well as post-processing identified defects according to quality standards. Ideal candidates possess technical understanding, manual dexterity, and ideally, experience in a metalworking profession, along with a willingness to work in shifts. While MT1 certification is desirable, entry-level candidates may be considered.
