Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position seeks a qualified Materials Tester, Industrial Mechanic, or similar professional to join a team in Bochum and Gelsenkirchen. The core responsibility involves conducting precise quality assurance through non-destructive testing (NDT), primarily focusing on ultrasonic measurements. Day-to-day tasks include the independent setup and operation of sophisticated measuring devices, meticulous protocolling of results on a PC, and comprehensive evaluation and documentation of testing data. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification in a relevant technical field and demonstrate strong manual dexterity, accuracy, and teamwork skills. Prior professional experience with NDT techniques such as RT, MT, UT, and PT is highly desirable. A crucial requirement is the willingness to work in 3- or 4-shift patterns, ensuring continuous testing operations and quality control.
