Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position in Bochum seeks a skilled Materials Tester, specifically focusing on the measurement and inspection of turbine blades. The core responsibilities involve performing ultrasonic testing, setting up and operating ultrasonic devices, and measuring wall thicknesses according to specifications. Candidates will also conduct visual quality checks, perform necessary equipment corrections, and meticulously document all measurement results using a PC-based system, including inputting data into the operational data acquisition system. The ideal candidate possesses a completed technical trade qualification, preferably from a foundry environment, coupled with professional experience in an industrial production setting, strong manual dexterity, and a reliable, precise work ethic. This role offers an attractive starting wage based on the Steel Collective Agreement and a permanent contract from day one.
