Job Summary

This role involves managing and supporting the central workflow management system, JobRouter, for a leading global provider of submarines and naval vessels. The Application Manager will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and support of the system, acting as a key driver of digitalization. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and analyzing requirements from specialist departments, translating these into digital workflows, and ensuring implementation adheres to IT standards and architectural guidelines. Furthermore, the manager will independently lead smaller development projects within JobRouter, manage interfaces between JobRouter and other enterprise applications to ensure seamless integration, and provide technical guidance to student employees. This position requires a background in IT, workflow, or quality management, ideally with experience maintaining business applications, and strong communication skills to proactively inform departments about application landscape changes.
