Job Summary

This is an opportunity to join a specialized service team focusing on the maintenance and repair of bespoke machinery, particularly temperature control devices, for a client in the special machine construction sector. The Service Technician will be responsible for a variety of hands-on tasks, including performing repairs, maintenance, assembly, and modification of equipment. A significant part of the role involves expert troubleshooting and fault elimination, followed by commissioning and full functional testing of systems, both internally at the test bench and externally at customer sites. Ideal candidates must have completed vocational training in electrical engineering or mechatronics and possess practical knowledge of control systems, regulation technology, hydraulics, and pneumatics. The position offers secure, permanent employment with predictable working hours, no shift work, and no weekend duties. While the role is 80% based at the main workplace, it requires a 20% willingness to travel, typically involving day trips.
