Job Summary

This role involves performing critical non-destructive testing (NDT) and visual inspection of workpieces, primarily utilizing Magnetic Particle Testing, for Knorr-Bremse Systeme für Schienenfahrzeuge GmbH in Berlin-Marzahn. The Materials Tester will be responsible for assessing workpieces against required DIN and internal factory standards, meticulously documenting all test results within the OBE system or formal test protocols, and reporting production progress in SAP. A key aspect of the job is reacting appropriately to quality deviations and maintaining a strong performance and quality awareness.
