Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Food Laboratory Technician in Osterfeld to support food manufacturing and processing through comprehensive analytical testing. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing physical and mechanical analyses (e.g., density, moisture, particle size, strength) and conducting sieve analyses to determine grain size distribution. The technician will also be responsible for color value measurements, precise sample preparation, documentation of all steps, and operating/maintaining sophisticated analytical equipment. A key focus is the evaluation, interpretation, and digital recording of measurement results, ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards, and contributing to process optimization. The ideal candidate holds a professional qualification as a Laboratory Technician, ideally with prior experience in food production and relevant analytical techniques. This position requires willingness to work in a 3-shift system, potentially including weekends, and demands a high degree of responsibility and hygiene awareness.
