Job Summary
The KION Battery Systems GmbH (KBS) joint venture is seeking an Industrial Engineer for Support & Maintenance to join their growing team in Karlstein am Main. This role is crucial for maintaining the high-performance lithium-ion battery production lines for KION's electric forklifts and warehouse technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent inspection, repair, and maintenance of production facilities, managing spare parts, and coordinating external service providers. The engineer will also be involved in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and defining process optimizations. The ideal candidate holds a degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering (e.g., Technician, Master Craftsman, or B. Eng.) and possesses strong fault-finding and technical service experience. This position requires hands-on technical skills, high motivation, and the willingness to work in a two-shift rotation.

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, or further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician, or Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) degree
Experience
- Experience in maintenance and/or technical service
- Professional experience in troubleshooting and fault rectification
