Job Summary

This role involves managing and overseeing civil engineering and pipeline construction projects for a client in Potsdam. The Construction Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive planning and monitoring of construction processes, ensuring economic success and adherence to technical specifications. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating personnel and material deployment on site, independently executing construction projects, and controlling site results and workflows. A key part of the role is managing the financial aspects, including creating and maintaining cost estimates for tenders and work, as well as handling change order negotiations. Candidates should possess a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification, foundational legal knowledge of VOB, and proficiency in MS Office and specialized billing/calculation software.
