Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join the pharmaceutical industry in Idar-Oberstein, focusing on Quality Control for cutting-edge Cell and Gene Therapy products. The core responsibilities involve the analytical testing of vaccines and gene therapeutics intended for clinical trials or as approved medicines. Day-to-day tasks include performing analyses under strict GMP regulations using methods such as Flow Cytometry, ELISA, and PCR. You will also play an active role in shaping the regulated environment by contributing to the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and utilizing your initiative to help establish new analytical methods and facilitate technology transfer from R&D to GMP. Candidates must possess relevant vocational training or a natural science degree, strong organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy and reliability. Experience in GMP environments and Flow Cytometry is highly beneficial.
