Job Summary
This role involves working in a small, specialized Chemistry team at the Material Testing Institute (MPA H) in Hannover, focusing on the analytical testing and assessment of construction materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing instrumental analysis using modern methods (e.g., Headspace-GC-MS, TGA/DSC, FT-IR, REM-EDX), organizing and processing lab orders, and documenting results. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and monitoring analytical equipment in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory environment. A key aspect of the job is conducting site visits to evaluate manufacturing processes and quality controls for products like joint sealing tapes or concrete additives. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and offers an interesting, responsible, and varied full-time role within the public sector, with the benefits of flexible working hours and a supportive team environment.

- Knowledge of requirements for testing laboratories, especially DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, is desirable
