Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position with the City of Bernburg (Saale) involves the comprehensive management and supervision of inner-city traffic facilities and engineering structure projects. The successful candidate will handle project preparation, control, and execution, focusing heavily on contract negotiation and administration according to German standards (HOAI and VOB). Daily responsibilities include overseeing external engineering firms through planning phases 1-7, conducting site supervision (Oberbauleitung), managing project budgets, processing invoices, and handling defect claims. The role also requires independent planning of smaller projects using AutoCAD, maintaining structural documentation (DIN 1076 using SIB Bauwerke software), and coordinating public relations and funding applications.
