Job Summary

This role is for an IT Specialist focused on system integration and administration within a full-service IT provider based in Traunstein, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily administration and operation of customer environments, primarily focusing on Windows Server/Active Directory, Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams), and common virtualization solutions (VMware/Hyper-V). Day-to-day tasks include managing network and security infrastructure, such as firewalls, VPNs, LAN/WLAN, and security stacks, alongside performing troubleshooting and performance optimization. A key part of the job involves managing backup and recovery processes (using tools like Veeam/Acronis), providing 1st and 2nd level remote and on-site support, and handling structured ticket processing. Furthermore, the role involves active participation in project work, including rollouts, migrations, handovers, and customer training, serving clients such as tax and law firms, often involving specialized DATEV and RA-MICRO environments. Excellent German language skills and a Class B driving license are essential for this customer-facing position.
