Job Summary
This role is ideal for a technically skilled engineer or scientist ready to support the technical managing director of an internationally expanding company specializing in customized measurement technology for high-temperature industrial applications (foundry, steel, glass). Day-to-day responsibilities include leading development projects, conducting feasibility studies for new measurement applications, performing thermodynamic calculations related to heat transfer in refractory linings, and solving complex technical problems for specific applications. The successful candidate will also coordinate internal development projects, support subsidiary technical issues, and collaborate with universities and external partners. Key qualifications include a strong technical degree (or PhD) in materials science, electrical engineering, or related fields, coupled with excellent German and good English skills, a hands-on mentality, and a structured, independent, and quality-conscious approach to work.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed technical degree or PhD in Materials Technology, Electrical Engineering, Foundry and Steelworks Technology, Physics, Chemistry, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in technical project management and support
- Experience supporting production departments (defining work parameters, material development, layout)
