Job Summary
This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PLC Programmer to join a leading provider of customized control solutions in the intralogistics sector. Working in a familial, international environment, you will be responsible for developing complex PLC software for large-scale automation systems, potentially involving up to 60 controllers. A core function of the job involves managing major intralogistics projects from conception through to final installation and commissioning. Crucially, this position requires significant travel (approximately 50% of the time) for on-site commissioning and customer training, both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate must possess at least five years of relevant professional experience, particularly within intralogistics, and have deep expertise in Siemens STEP 7 and TIA Portal, alongside proficiency in SCL, AWL, and KOP programming languages. Fluency in English and basic German skills are mandatory for success in this customer-facing, project-heavy role.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, or certified qualification as a Technician (state-certified examination) or Master Electrician with proven practical experience.
