This role involves managing the tax affairs of the Northeim district, including collaborating with tax consultants and shaping tax strategies within budget planning. A key responsibility will be leading the project for the introduction of Section 2b of the German Turnover Tax Act and spearheading the development of a Tax Compliance Management System. The position also entails overseeing tax audits, performing controlling and reporting functions, managing cost and performance accounting, and contributing to annual financial statements. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Administrative Assistant with successful completion of the second administrative course, OR qualification for the first entry-level position of career group 2 (formerly higher service) in General Administration, OR a completed degree in Law, Public Administration, or Business Administration, or a comparable degree.

Experience

  • Professional experience in municipal administration (desirable)
  • Several years of experience in higher-level activities (if not meeting specific educational prerequisites)
