Job Summary

This role involves performing precise quality inspections, focusing heavily on 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to measure complex engine, valve, and Additive Layer Manufacturing (ALM) components in the aerospace industry. The Metrology Technician will be responsible for operating modern 3D measuring systems, along with other testing and measuring equipment (e.g., roughness and contour measuring devices), to ensure the highest measurement accuracy. Key daily tasks include systematically identifying and documenting deviations in products and equipment, creating qualified quality reports, and evaluating all 2D and 3D measurements to ensure product conformity with design specifications. Success in this position requires a background in quality management and proficiency with 2D and 3D CMMs, working closely with manufacturing and design teams to rapidly resolve technical deviations and drive continuous process optimization within a leading international high-tech aerospace company.
