Job Summary
The Officer for International Affairs will be responsible for independently managing and expanding the international contacts and cooperation of the German Medical Association (Bundesärztekammer) with global partners. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and scientifically evaluating health policy topics, drafting official statements, position papers, speeches, and presentations in both German and English, and representing the association's positions in international professional policy bodies. A key focus will be supporting national and European health policy and addressing issues related to the migration and professional recognition of foreign physicians. The ideal candidate holds a relevant Master's degree, possesses professional experience (ideally in the healthcare sector), strong intercultural and diplomatic skills, and excellent communication abilities in German and English. This role offers an attractive salary, 30 days of vacation, and flexible working models in a professional and supportive environment in Berlin.
