Job Summary

This critical role involves the operative management of electrical grid operations within a 24/7, 3-shift system at the Grid Control Center. The Switching Master is responsible for operating and controlling monitored areas, including 110-kV and 20-kV power grids, traction power systems, and fire protection facilities, using a state-of-the-art network control system. Key daily tasks include independently monitoring systems and networks, overseeing and instructing switching operations in high and medium-voltage networks, and planning these actions. A central responsibility is managing the central fault reception point, coordinating disturbance management across all areas, and initiating measures to ensure safe system operation, including error analysis and resolution. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Technician or Master, preferably in Electrical or Energy Technology, and bring at least five years of relevant professional experience, particularly in network operational management. The position requires reliability, high stress resistance, strong teamwork skills, and a willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
